Designing a packaging is not as easy as it seems. A packaging should look natural, as if it were made at the same time as the product it is wrapped around. Of course, in practice this is not how it works. The product is made first, and the packaging comes next. The packaging is set up in a 2D design and then converted into a 3D structure. Not only should consideration be given to how to adapt a design to the type of packaging, but factors such as color, weight, shape and material also play a role.
